Los Angeles, March 10 (NationPress) Actress Sadie Sink disclosed that she "cried" extensively when the filming of 'Stranger Things' concluded, feeling quite "embarrassed" by some of the final photos taken on set.
The 22-year-old star, who portrayed Max Mayfield in the Netflix sci-fi series since 2017, mentioned that when the production wrapped at the end of last year, there were "some rather embarrassing photos" of her due to her emotional state.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she shared: "I haven’t seen anything from it yet, but I’m very curious. It’s definitely going to be an emotional experience, so I’m prepared to cry along with everyone. I cried so much that my eyes became incredibly puffy — I've never looked like that before, and there are some rather embarrassing photos of me with these huge puffy eyes."
On another note, Sadie landed her significant role at the age of 12 in the 2012 Broadway revival of the classic musical 'Annie', and she is returning to her singing roots with the upcoming film 'O'Dessa'. She described this opportunity as both "scary" yet "perfect" for her.
She explained, "When I received the script, I was instantly captivated, but I needed to listen to the music first. After doing so, I truly fell in love with the character and the musical universe that Geremy Jasper created. It felt like the ideal challenge to embrace."
"It was very different. I hadn’t sung in around a decade, so it was exciting to discover a new voice through 'O’Dessa'. It was daunting but fulfilling."
Sink previously mentioned that theater was the foundation of her "passion" and expressed her gratitude for her family's support that enabled her to pursue a career in the arts.
While speaking on 'Today', she stated: "That’s where my love began, and I felt that passion from a very young age. I’m thankful for my family for nurturing that."
