Mumbai, April 7 (NationPress) Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is back in the saddle, resuming horse riding after a significant hiatus caused by a stabbing incident.

In January, the actor was attacked during an attempted robbery at his home with wife Kareena Kapoor in Bandra, resulting in six injuries, two of which were severe and one dangerously close to his spine. After a lengthy recovery, the ‘Omkara’ star was recently seen horseback riding in Mandawa, Jaipur.

A video captured Khan relishing his time on horseback. After a few laps, he dismounted and affectionately patted the horse. A source informed IANS that Saif is currently filming a project near Mandawa and took advantage of his free time to enjoy horse riding.

At 54 years old, the actor appeared in great shape, sporting a white shirt and blue jeans, accessorized with black sunglasses.

Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, previously commented, “Saif was attacked by an unknown individual in his residence. He arrived at the hospital at 3:30 AM, suffering from six wounds, two of which were severe. One was perilously close to his spine. He was fortunate that none of the stabs impacted vital organs. The attack appeared to be knife-related during a robbery attempt. The injuries included two deep, two moderate, and two superficial.”

On February 3, Saif made his initial public appearance post-recovery at the trailer launch of his upcoming thriller, “Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins.” Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, the series features Jaideep Ahlawat and is set to stream on Netflix starting April 25.

Most recently, Saif was seen in “Devara” alongside Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
