Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) Actors Saiyami Kher and Gulshan Devaiah are reuniting for an upcoming heartfelt romantic music video titled ‘Aise Na Humko’, crafted by renowned lyricist-composer Swanand Kirkire.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Saiyami stated, “I have always admired Swanand’s work and longed to collaborate with him. He is truly a gem, incredibly talented as a writer, actor, and now a composer. It’s astounding what one individual can achieve.”
The actress is thrilled to partner with Gulshan, who she previously starred alongside in “8 A.M. Metro.”
“I was overjoyed when Gulshan agreed to join us because we have collaborated on 8 A.M. Metro and I feel a certain ease with him. He’s incredibly supportive and delightful to work with,” she remarked.
Gulshan considers this collaboration a creative extension rather than a simple reunion.
He shared, “I enjoyed working with Saiyami, loved spending time with her, and getting to know her during Glitch & 8 A.M. Metro. Some people are just wonderful to be around, and she is one of them. We share great chemistry and camaraderie, and I eagerly accepted the chance to create something together again.”
The music video was filmed exclusively in Nashik, with significant scenes captured at Saiyami Kher’s farmstay, giving it a unique and personal aesthetic.
“We filmed at my farm stay in Nashik, which felt like paradise, making the experience even more memorable,” Saiyami added. Opting for real locations over stylized sets allowed the song's emotions and lyrics to unfold organically.
Regarding the musician, Kirkire has received the National Film Award for Best Lyrics on two occasions. His first accolade was in 2006 for the song "Bande Me Tha Dum...Vande Mataram" from the film Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and again in 2009 for "Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh" from 3 Idiots.
