Mumbai, October 26 (NationPress) - Salman Khan delivered a poignant tribute to the late actor Satish Shah, stating that he was a person who truly lived life to the fullest. Salman shared a nostalgic photograph, likely from their collaboration in the 1997 film "Judwaa", on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
He reminisced about knowing the veteran actor since he was just 15 years old, writing, "Knew you since I was 15... life lived kingsize... May your soul rest in peace. Will miss you, Satish Ji... (sic)."
The final rites for Satish Shah were conducted at the Pawan Hans crematorium in the Vile Parle West area of Mumbai on Sunday. Numerous industry colleagues attended the funeral to pay their respects to the beloved actor.
Co-stars from ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, including Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Rajesh Kumar, and Ratna Pathak Shah, were present, alongside Ratna’s husband Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, and Supriya Pathak.
Others attending included Deepak Parashar, Niel Nitin Mukesh, Avatar Gill, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, Rumi Jaffery, Anang Desai, and David Dhawan.
Satish Shah, known for his roles in films such as "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro" and "Main Hoon Na", passed away in Mumbai on Saturday at the age of 74.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his condolences, stating that Satish Shah will be remembered as 'a true legend of Indian entertainment'.
