Chennai, Nov 27 (NationPress) Bigg Boss contestant and Tamil film star Samyuktha Shanmughanathan exchanged vows with cricketer Aniruda Srikkanth during a private ceremony held here on Thursday.

The nuptials, which were a closely-knit gathering, saw the presence of family members and close friends of the newlyweds.

Shortly after their wedding, both Samyuktha and Aniruda took to social media to share glimpses of their special day, including a video showcasing their preparations. This video featured renowned television host and columnist Bhavna Balakrishnan, a dear friend of Samyuktha, who offered heartfelt sentiments about the couple.

Expressing her congratulations, Bhavna remarked, "Sometimes opposites attract, and sometimes, like-minded individuals unite. At times, ambitious souls come together, while loving hearts meet as well. However, when two individuals connect as friends and support each other in a unique way, that's truly special—just like Ani and Sam. Wishing you both a wonderful journey ahead together!"

Aniruda Srikkanth, son of former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, is both a cricketer and a sports commentator.

Samyuktha, known for portraying a police officer in the recently released Tamil film 'Madharas Mafia Company', gained fame through her participation in the Tamil reality show Bigg Boss.

Earlier this year in August, Samyuktha subtly hinted at her relationship with Aniruda Srikkanth.

In a post on Instagram to reintroduce herself, she mentioned, "Hello! If you're new here, I'm Samyuktha. Many call me Sam, Sammy, or even Samosa. But if you're family or a close friend, I'm Pinky. I experienced a turbulent time during Covid, losing everything I held dear and starting anew—not due to Covid itself but within that timeframe."
