Mumbai, Oct 31 (NationPress) Actress Sanchi Bhoyar, who portrays the lead role in the forthcoming series 'Binddii', believes that her character's journey is a reflection of the divine bravery exhibited by Lord Krishna, who, despite being born in confinement, was destined to challenge injustice.
Discussing her role, Sanchi, who embodies Binddii, stated: “Binddii’s journey is akin to that of Lord Krishna — confined at birth yet fighting against the Kans in her life. For me, Lord Krishna’s struggle against Kans has always illustrated how courage and truth can triumph over evil.”
She further expressed: “Binddii’s path is remarkably similar – Jail mein janmi, sach ke liye ladti – this is Binddii, the Krishna of her era. Like Krishna, she emerged from confinement and stands resolutely against injustice, regardless of its apparent strength.”
In the series, Binddii evolves into a beacon of truth, battling to restore her mother Kajal’s dignity. In a realm where love and betrayal often conceal their true faces, Binddii bravely confronts deceit and injustice from a young age.
She becomes the Krishna of her narrative, unyielding in her quest for truth, determined to unveil Dayanand, played by Manav Gohil, the Kans of her existence.
Sanchi added: “This story holds immense significance for me as it revolves around a daughter’s love and resolve to defend her mother and establish her innocence. At times, she feels fear, yet she never surrenders, because she fundamentally believes in the ultimate victory of good.”
Actor Manav Gohil, portraying Dayanand, remarked: “Dayanand’s character embodies a man who thrives on power, manipulation, and control. Similar to Kans, he believes his might can suppress truth and manipulate the world to his advantage.”
Manav explained that his character Dayanand is not evil for its own sake; his darkness stems from ego, fear, and an overwhelming desire for dominance.
“This conviction renders him both perilous and intriguing. For me, this character represents the timeless conflict between good and evil, a struggle Lord Krishna once faced, now reborn in a contemporary context.”
He added: “It’s a unique opportunity to portray such an intense and complex character, and I’m eager for the audience to witness this dimension of me.”
The show is set to air on Colors.
