Mumbai, July 2 (NationPress) Actress Sanvikaa, who has been receiving an abundance of positive feedback for her role in the recently launched season of the hit streaming series ‘Panchayat’, has opened up about the development of her character throughout the four seasons.
In a recent conversation with IANS, she revealed that the creators intentionally chose to gradually reveal the complexities of her character rather than presenting everything at once. In the inaugural season, Sanvikaa’s character only appears in the final scene of the season 1 finale. Over time, her character has evolved, and now she is more actively engaged in the storyline.
Discussing this aspect, Sanvikaa mentioned, “The creators aimed for a gradual progression of the character. They deliberately wanted to avoid revealing everything at once. That's why they made conscious decisions to showcase Rinky in small snippets. As time unfolds, we are learning more about her identity, values, and her relationships with family and her romantic life.”
She added, “I believe that in the previous season, viewers have gotten to see a bit more of Rinky. It has always been a premeditated plan for her development in season four and beyond.”
When asked about her current feelings following the overwhelming response to the show, Sanvikaa expressed that with every season, the announcement of the release date triggers her anxiety and excitement. Although the show was initially set to premiere on July 2, it was released earlier, adding to her emotional rollercoaster.
“As an actor, there’s always a curiosity about how the audience will react to the season, to me, and to my character,” she said. “Even now, despite the season having premiered, those feelings linger. However, I’m genuinely enjoying the moment because the feedback has been fantastic, and ‘Panchayat’ boasts an incredible, devoted fanbase. I am truly grateful for that,” she concluded.
