Mumbai, April 24 (NationPress) Television Actress Sanchita Ugale, who appeared in the Vicky Kaushal-starrer “Chhaava” as Tarabai and featured in the show “Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi,” expressed that her aspiration to work in television has been a lifelong dream.
Reflecting on her ambition to portray a heroine in a TV series, she mentioned, "To be candid, working in the television industry has been my childhood aspiration. I often watched various shows and envisioned that one day I would be a lead actress in one. Fortunately, I am now fulfilling that dream. I believe that with hard work, patience, and dedication, dreams can indeed materialize."
The actress reminisced about her journey in the entertainment industry.
"I commenced my acting journey in 2023, two years ago, starting as a continuity artist. I had the opportunity to play a significant role as Tarabai in the Bollywood film Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal. By the grace of God, I am ecstatic to be living my dreams, especially enjoying my role as Sukoon, the lead character in the TV series Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi."
Despite her current successes, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunities she has now, while also acknowledging her past struggles with rejection and disappointment, particularly when she was replaced in a lead role in “Deewani.”
She shared, "I am thankful for the hard work I put in, and for the love and support I receive from my family, friends, and my valued audience. While I am enjoying this fortunate period, I also carry the experiences of rejection and setbacks from the past.”
Describing it as a “learning phase,” Sanchita added: “Believe me, I have previously filmed for projects that never aired. I was cast for lead roles that ultimately did not materialize. I was initially chosen for a lead role in Deewani, had signed the contract, and was ready to start shooting, but ended up being replaced at the last moment.”
She further shared: “I was devastated and cried a lot during that time. It taught me the importance of patience, faith in God, and perseverance.”
Sanchita has garnered acclaim for her performances in well-known series such as Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya. She has also featured in Manoj Bajpayee’s Silence 2 and Crime Aaj Kal, which stars Vikrant Massey.
