Sanjay Dutt Thanks Advocate Majeed Memon for His Book ‘My Memoirs’ Launch

Mumbai, Jan 26 (NationPress) Sanjay Dutt, who has faced a prolonged legal ordeal related to the 1993 serial blasts, has now shown his appreciation to Senior Advocate Majeed Memon during the launch of his book.

Senior Advocate and former Member of Parliament, Mr. Majeed Memon, has recently unveiled his autobiography, My Memoirs. This book provides a comprehensive narrative of over 50 years of his distinguished legal career, emphasizing some of the most pivotal and controversial cases in India’s judicial landscape.

My Memoirs also explores Mr. Memon's involvement in some of Bollywood’s most publicized legal disputes, including the Sanjay Dutt trial arising from the 1993 Mumbai bombings and the Gulshan Kumar murder case. These are part of 24 landmark cases detailed in the book, granting readers exclusive insights into his five-decade-long profession.

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who benefited from Mr. Memon’s legal prowess to secure bail, expressed his gratitude with a heartfelt note: "Majeed Bhai, congratulations on reaching 50 years in the field of law. Filmmaker Anurag Basu, who was present at the book launch, commented: "I first encountered Memon Sir at the premiere of my debut movie, which was a project by Mahesh Bhatt. He was there due to his ties with Mahesh Ji, and that's how our relationship commenced. Witnessing Majeed Bhai on stage today after knowing him for two decades fills me with immense joy. Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, a close associate of Mr. Memon, was a distinguished attendee at the book launch and remarked, "It has been a genuine privilege to know him and to be inspired by his life. Mr. Memon has confronted numerous intricate and controversial cases throughout his extensive career.
