Sara took to Instagram to share a stunning picture montage featuring herself. In the image, the actress is seen with her back towards the camera, donning a vibrant sunny yellow saree paired with an aqua blue blouse. The daughter of renowned actor Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh gazes at the setting sun behind the mountains.
In her caption, she expressed: “Favourite companion while my moon shows up.”
The actress, who recently starred in “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” a historical biopic centered on India’s fight for independence in 1942, celebrated the sixth anniversary of her debut film “Kedarnath,” alongside the late star Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara expressed gratitude to God for providing her with a lifetime of memories.
She shared a video compilation of clips from the film and its behind-the-scenes moments. In the caption, she reflected, “6 years of Kedarnath. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday and sometimes it feels like a lifetime away… Jai Bholenath. Thank you for making me me. And thank you for giving me a lifetime of memories.”
The film portrayed the devastating 2013 flash floods in Uttarakhand, focusing on a love story between a wealthy Hindu Brahmin girl whose family owns a lodge and shops near the historic Kedarnath Temple in the Uttarakhand mountains and a Muslim boy who works as a 'pithoo' (porter) in the area.
As their relationship deepens, the couple faces numerous challenges, including family disapproval and differing backgrounds; when the sudden rains of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods wreak havoc in the region, the couple must endure the elements and confront the ultimate test of their love. The film was crafted by Abhishek Kapoor, acclaimed for his blockbusters such as ‘Rock On!!’ and ‘Kai Po Che!’.
