Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Announce Their Engagement

Los Angeles, Dec 12 (NationPress) Actress-singer Selena Gomez has officially become engaged to her partner, music producer Benny Blanco. She revealed the exciting news through an Instagram carousel that featured a close-up image of her engagement ring alongside a delightful picture of her and Blanco joyfully celebrating their engagement with laughter and a warm embrace.

In her caption, she expressed, "Forever begins now". Blanco eagerly responded, "hey wait… that’s my wife".

The bride-to-be also took pride in sharing a mirror selfie, showcasing her stunning new ring in her Instagram Stories, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.

During a May visit to ‘The Howard Stern Show’, Blanco shared with Stern that he envisioned marriage with the ‘Only Murders In The Building’ actress in his future.

He stated, “When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this”. Selena and Blanco have known each other for years, collaborating on the 2019 hit ‘I Can't Get Enough’ alongside Tainy and J Balvin before beginning their romantic relationship in June 2023.

According to ‘People’, in August 2023, Selena released the Blanco-produced track ‘Single Soon’. In December 2023, she confirmed their relationship status by liking posts on fan accounts on Instagram and even commented, “He is my absolute everything in my heart”, on one of them.

They made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2024 Emmys in January. The following month, Gomez discussed their relationship with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, stating, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it's just really important to meet someone that respects you”. She added, “And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel and it's been really lovely and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome”.
