Los Angeles, Dec 1 (NationPress) Singer-actress Selena Gomez is filled with pride for her boyfriend Benny Blanco, openly celebrating her affection for her partner.
The 32-year-old star is excited that her record producer boyfriend was featured in People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive edition and expressed her gratitude for having him in her life, according to reports from Female First UK.
In a social media snippet from her interview on 'CBS Sunday Morning,' Selena proudly declared about his accolade, "That's my man!" The actress from 'Only Murders in the Building' continued, "I'm beyond proud to know that there is someone in the world who cares deeply about every little aspect of who I am. Having someone who supports, encourages, inspires, and motivates me brings me happiness. More than anything, he is my best friend. I feel incredibly lucky."
According to Female First UK, Selena and Benny confirmed their relationship in December 2023, with the star of 'Emilia Perez' sharing that they chose to publicly acknowledge some aspects of their romance, a decision that has made her feel "safe" with her partner.
She told The Hollywood Reporter, "I guess this is the safest I’ve ever felt in a relationship, and I envision a future with this person. When you share a little, people are less eager to invade your privacy. If they hear something, they might be curious, but if you say, 'I did it,' they’re like, 'Oh, well there’s you, just going to Sushi Park.' However, there’s so much of my relationship that remains unseen, and that’s just for me."
Selena is satisfied with the equilibrium she has found that allows her to retain a degree of privacy in her life. When asked if she believes she has a private life, she replied, "I do, because I spend time with individuals who aren’t deeply entrenched in the industry. I mean, I have both worlds."
