Los Angeles, Oct 16 (NationPress) Singer-actress Selena Gomez opened up about her overwhelming emotions after her wedding to Benny Blanco. The actress was in tears, fearing she might "die the next day".

The star of ‘Only Murders In The Building’ expressed her struggle to cherish life’s joyful moments due to a persistent fear that they might vanish. This included her recent marriage to music producer Benny Blanco, as reported by ‘Female First UK’.

While speaking at the Fortune's Most Powerful Women conference, she shared, "I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen. I got married and then I was sobbing because I was like, ‘I’m gonna die the next day’. I just think that’s a little life thing.”

The 33-year-old actress-singer, who married the 37-year-old producer last month, admitted that she often gets “wrapped up” in her anxieties instead of fully enjoying the moment.

According to ‘Female First UK’, Selena revealed her feelings of unworthiness at the conference, stating, "This is how I work personally, but something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen. So instead of being present and saying, ‘Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing’, I’m always thinking, ‘Okay, but this could all go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?’".

In other news, Selena recently expressed her hope to have children "one day". She reacted emotionally to the revelation in the season two finale of ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’, where Billie (played by Janice LeAnn Brown) is revealed to be the daughter of Selena's character, Alex Russo.

Since first appearing in the sitcom in 2007 at just 15, Selena shared a clip from the show on her Instagram Story, stating, “Alex Russo is a mommy (teary eyed emoji). Hopefully one day that’ll be me.”

After the episode aired, both Selena and Janice, who is now 15, acknowledged how emotional the moment was for them.
