Los Angeles, Oct 1 (NationPress) Singer-actress Selena Gomez, who tied the knot with record producer Benny Blanco this past weekend, was utterly overcome with emotions on her wedding day.

A source revealed to Us Weekly: "Everyone in attendance was in tears, and the atmosphere was incredibly emotional."

Although Blanco's vows were notably brief compared to his wife's, the “Wolf” hitmaker experienced a wave of emotions throughout the ceremony.

The insider noted: "Despite their brevity, the vows were deeply heartfelt and touching, causing Selena to bawl her eyes out."

The 37-year-old actress also honored Gomez's 12-year-old sister, Gracie, during the ceremony by presenting her with a unique coupon book for “whatever she needs”, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

The source elaborated: "If Gracie wanted to spend a day with them or go on a shopping spree, she could redeem a coupon for that. It was incredibly sweet, and it brought tears to many eyes."

Blanco played an essential role in crafting the overall design and atmosphere of their special day.

The insider mentioned: "The wedding was very much reflective of his style and resembled the decor of their Beverly Hills home. He has a keen eye for design and thoroughly enjoyed the process."

In past interviews, Gomez admitted she never envisioned herself dating Blanco.

However, as they collaborated more closely, her perspective shifted.

During an appearance on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Gomez expressed: "I was initially resistant... you know how you come to realize that you’re not in the right mindset? Timing is everything in meeting the right person. I thought, 'If I had rushed this, it wouldn’t have worked.'"
