Mumbai, Sep 3 (NationPress) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan stated, "The spirit of Punjab shall never break" while offering his prayers for those impacted by the devastating floods in Punjab.
Expressing his heartfelt concern, King Khan shared on social media, "My heart goes out to those in Punjab affected by these catastrophic floods. Sending prayers and strength… The spirit of Punjab shall never break… may God bless them all."
Previously, his 'Dear Zindagi' co-star Alia Bhatt also conveyed her prayers to all those suffering due to the floods in Punjab.
The 'Highway' actress expressed her hope that every affected family would receive the necessary support to recover and rebuild their lives.
In her Instagram stories, Alia wrote, "My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the floods in Punjab. Sending love, strength, and prayers to all affected, and gratitude to the individuals working tirelessly on the ground to assist. May every family find the support needed to heal and rebuild. (sic)"

Punjab is currently facing a significant natural disaster as the rivers Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi overflow due to heavy rainfall in their catchment areas across Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Some of the most severely affected regions include Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, and Amritsar.
Meanwhile, rescue operations are currently in full swing. The Army's Western Command has reported that over 5,500 civilians and 300 personnel from paramilitary forces have been rescued. Additionally, more than 3,000 civilians have received medical assistance, and 27 tonnes of essential supplies have been delivered to the flood-affected communities.
