Mumbai, November 21 (NationPress) - Actress Sherlyn Chopra has captured headlines recently following her decision to remove her breast implants. In a press conference held today, she passionately shared the reasons behind this significant choice.
While addressing the media, Sherlyn stated, "Today, I will discuss why I opted to eliminate the implants. I once believed I was strong and held the mindset that 'Bigger is Better'." She showcased the removed silicone implants, revealing, "From 2021 until November 10, I faced relentless struggles with chronic pain, including neck, shoulder, back, and chest pain, as well as shortness of breath and brain fog. After extensive medical evaluations, it was concluded that my heavy breast implants were the primary cause. Remarkably, after their removal, I lost two kilograms. The sense of relief was indescribable; not only was my pain alleviated, but I also shed the artificial weight."
She continued, "Imagine the relief I experienced post-removal. In chasing social media validation, we often jeopardize our lives by making such irrational choices. Enough is enough; I refuse to let my body be part of this any longer."
She questioned, "Who defined the 'sex bomb' or 'bombshell' in our society? The standard of a 36-24-36 figure has been ingrained in our minds, but who set those benchmarks? Why do we accept that an hourglass figure is the ideal, dismissing all other forms as inadequate?"
"Who determines what constitutes a perfect body? Enough is enough. It’s time to embrace our authenticity and celebrate our true selves. My breasts may be small, my nose may be small, etc. However, I am a creation of God, and He loves me as I am," she added.
For those unaware, Sherlyn Chopra recently had her breast implants removed and has since encouraged others to appreciate themselves just as they are.
