Mumbai, April 7 (NationPress) Actress Shilpa Shirodkar embarked on a nostalgic journey to her childhood school, Ava Bai Petit School in Khar, for a memorable farewell event.
Invited as a special guest and alumni judge, Shilpa's return was both emotional and reflective. She took to her Instagram to share her sentiments. Posting a few pictures, Shilpa expressed, “Full circle moment! Stepped back into my alma mater, Avabai Petit School in Khar, after all these years. As a member of the 1989 batch, I experienced a whirlwind of emotions, memories, and happiness. Sitting on the same bench, reuniting with my teachers, and walking those familiar halls felt surreal. I cherish every moment from my school days as if they happened yesterday. I was quite the handful, often getting into trouble and facing my share of consequences from my teachers. Yet, despite my mischievous behavior, they recognized my potential and nurtured it.” (sic)
“Today, as I stand here judging the students and witnessing the spark in their eyes, I am reminded that who I am today is also due to my teachers and the values they instilled in me. I am profoundly grateful for the lessons they imparted, both academically and personally. Thank you, Avabai Petit School, for being part of my journey and allowing me to be part of yours. #ForeverAPetitite,” she added.
During her visit, the ‘Gopi Kishan’ actress reconnected with her former teachers, engaged with current students, and toured the campus filled with nostalgia. Having spent her formative years in Khar, she fondly recalled her playful school days, sharing amusing tales that brought laughter to both students and faculty.
In her old classroom, Shilpa pointed out the specific bench she used to occupy during her school days. She admitted to being quite a troublemaker, frequently finding herself outside the classroom as a consequence for her pranks and incessant talking.
On the career front, Shilpa Shirodkar made a return with the Salman Khan-hosted reality series “Bigg Boss 18.” She is set to appear in the upcoming film “Jatadhara,” alongside Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha.
