Mumbai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Television actor Shoaib Ibrahim recently expressed his support for Farrhana Bhatt, a contestant in this year's Bigg Boss season 19, on his social media platform. During a Q&A session, he faced accusations from trolls who claimed he was backing Farrhana solely because of their shared religion. One troll remarked, “You are a Muslim, and that is why you are supporting Farrhana, as she is a Muslim too.”
In response, Shoaib remained composed and stated, “So, now it has come down to religion? That's not the case. I appreciate Farhana's gameplay; I admire her resilience. She stands alone against the others, showcasing her strength, which is why I support her.”
Shoaib recalled, “Last year, I backed Karanveer Mehra while Vivian Dsena was also in the house. If you think I'm favoring one religion, that's not true. I genuinely enjoyed Karanveer's gameplay and was thrilled when he won.” He highlighted Farrhana's strengths, calling her a formidable contestant.
“I appreciate her strategy. Yes, she sometimes goes too far, but if you analyze the game, she is effectively managing the house,” he noted. His wife, Dipika Kakar, who won Bigg Boss 12, chimed in, remarking, “The highlight of the weekend was when Salman Khan corrected her, and she accepted her mistakes gracefully. Despite having many questions about the show, she communicated them respectfully, which was commendable.”
Shoaib pointed out that both Farrhana and Tanya Mittal are pivotal to the show's dynamics, stating, “If we remove discussions about Farrhana and Tanya from last weekend, there was hardly any topic left to discuss. I also liked Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj, but they have since been eliminated.”
Recently, Farrhana faced criticism from host Salman Khan for disparaging the television industry and fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna, whom Salman referred to as a superstar of TV.
