Mumbai, Dec 18 (NationPress) Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor is shining a light on the often-overlooked craftsmen of cinema, commending the technicians responsible for the recent blockbuster “Dhurandhar”. She considers this film a pivotal moment for Indian cinema.

In a heartfelt message shared via her Instagram stories, Shraddha expressed that while the contributions of technicians may often be hidden, their collaborative artistry is what truly gives life to a film.

“In the greatest films, the work of technicians is invisible. #Dhurandhar marks a significant milestone for Indian cinema. Let's acknowledge the talents behind this masterpiece and applaud them, @castingchhabra, as every actor's brilliance begins with a meticulously chosen cast,” she conveyed.

In her reflection on the film's influence, Shraddha pointed out that the film's authenticity, intensity, and raw energy are never mere coincidences.

“When a film appears so genuine, fierce, and powerful, it is not by chance. It is crafted by @vik_now, @sainisjohray, @smriti.schauhan, @shivkumarpanicker, @preetishe. When you sense that ‘resonance’ and your heartbeat quickens with each scene, it is the masterful audio team that creates this effect, including @shashwatology, @bishwadeepchatterjee, @irshadkamilofficial. Previously, the actress had shared her thoughts on “Dhurandhar,” expressing her frustration at filmmaker Aditya Dhar for making audiences wait for the “part 2.”

“It’s truly frustrating of Aditya Dhar to create a film like Dhurandhar and then have us wait three months for Part 2. Please don’t toy with our emotions; we need an earlier release. What a remarkable experience! If I didn’t have a shoot early in the morning, I would have gone to watch it again right now,” she mentioned.

“(Had I not had a shoot in the morning, I would have gone again to watch the film). Chhaava, Saiyaara, Dhurandhar — all set to dominate Hindi cinema in 2025.”

Furthermore, she addressed the “widespread negative PR” targeting the film.

She noted, “From Yami Gautam having to call out the rampant negative PR machinery to the fabricated controversies, Dhurandhar has endured it all and emerged victorious. No negative forces can undermine a good film. We trust the audiences.”

This film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, and Naveen Kaushik.

The film, which is the first installment of a two-part series, depicts an Indian intelligence operation over a decade as an undercover agent infiltrates Karachi's criminal and political landscape to dismantle perilous cross-border terror networks.

Drawing inspiration from real-world events, the film references geopolitical tensions, the 1999 Indian plane hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, covert operations by India’s R&AW linked to Operation Lyari, and the crackdown on various gangs and criminal syndicates.
