Chennai, Oct 7 (NationPress) Actor Silambarasan, affectionately known as Simbu by his admirers, made a visit to the Vallalar temple in Vadalur on Tuesday, where he was spotted meditating for a period of time.

According to insiders, Simbu had encouraged his fans to provide meals to the underprivileged on October 5, marking the birthday of Ramalinga Swamigal, also recognized as Vallalar.

For those unfamiliar, Vallalar was a prominent Hindu saint who championed Jeevakarunyam and served as a beacon of compassion.

Inspired by the saint's principles, which emphasized nourishing the hungry and perceiving divinity in both animate and inanimate beings, Simbu chose to visit the Vallalar temple on Tuesday. A video capturing the actor engaged in conversation within the temple grounds has recently gained traction on social media.

The actor, seen providing nourishment to a puppy, was also filmed conversing with an individual who elaborated on Vallalar's teachings. Simbu remarked, "Would I come here without being a vegetarian? My very purpose for being here is to feed the people. I aspire to feed all children. Upon learning that someone from 100 to 200 years ago shared the same dream, I felt compelled to visit."

In related news, the producers of his upcoming movie with director Vetrimaaran have revealed the film's title as 'Arasan'.

Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, whose V Creations is behind the film, announced this on his X timeline.

He shared in Tamil, "Aalapirandha Arasan, Vetriyudan Silambarasan. #VetriMaaran @SilambarasanTR_ #STR49 #SilambarasanTR #VCreations47 #ARASAN. (The monarch born to govern! Victorious Simbu!)."

He also included an image from the film, depicting a man gripping a machete with his hand resting on a bicycle's carrier.

This announcement on Tuesday dispels any speculation surrounding the film being shelved.
