Chennai, Feb 17 (NationPress) Actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan celebrated his birthday by visiting the world-renowned Shiva temple in Tiruvannamalai with his family on Tuesday, where they offered prayers.

Video snippets featuring the actor and his wife, Aarthy, engaging in prayers at the famous temple have gained significant traction on social media.

Earlier that day, Sivakarthikeyan shared a celebratory video released by the makers of his upcoming film 'Seyon' in honor of his birthday.

In a heartfelt Tamil message, he stated, "For those who cherish me, for those who love me dearly, for those who adore me more than I do myself, for my fans, for my brothers and sisters #Seyon. Soorasambavam loading... #SeyonOct26 #OneMoreTime."

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan's RaajKamal Films International and Turmeric Media.

The celebration video depicts an event that unfolds on the second day of the Maasi Kalari festival at the Karumaathur Virumaandi Temple. It showcases a significant incident that occurs two hours after a major altercation at the festival.

A crowd gathers at the local police station, where a constable briefs the inspector about the earlier chaos. He explains that a group of young men, with half of their heads tonsured, misbehaved by flashing laser lights at dancers and filming it. Consequently, they faced retaliation, resulting in their half-tonsured heads.

When the inspector questions another individual about the reason for his beating, the man explains he was rehearsing for the devotional play 'Valli Thirumanam' and was assaulted for it.

This leads to speculation among the imprisoned individuals about the motives of the assailant, with one clarifying, "He is not an atheist, but rather gets possessed by the divine spirit of Virumaandi."

The police realize that everyone from the neighboring villages is present except for the people of Karumathur, who are proceeding with the procession, which is customary to continue without interruption.

The film has generated immense interest as it signifies a vital collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Raaj Kamal Films International, following the success of their previous film 'Amaran', which received both critical and commercial acclaim.

This project is produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, bringing together compelling storytelling and a striking cinematic vision. Director Sivakumar Murugesan will helm this movie as his second directorial effort after the much-anticipated 'Thaai Kizhavi'.

Furthermore, this project will mark the inaugural collaboration between RaajKamal Films International and Sivakarthikeyan, alongside acclaimed composer Santhosh Narayanan.

The film's cinematography will be managed by Vivek Vijayakumar, with editing by San Lokesh. Art direction will be led by R K Nagu, while Keerthy Sampath and Joshua Maxwell will handle its costume design.
