Sonakshi Sinha Offers a Sneak Peek of Their ‘Incredible Dive Day’ at the Great Barrier Reef

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Sonakshi Sinha and her husband, Zaheer Khan, are currently enjoying their vacation in Australia. Among their many adventures, the actress provided a sneak peek of their ‘incredible dive day’ at the Great Barrier Reef.

Sonakshi took to Instagram, sharing a collection of pictures and videos showcasing her and Zaheer, whom she initially met at a gathering hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan. In the snapshots, the couple is seen donned in diving gear and posing for the camera right before the big leap.

In the subsequent image, the pair can be seen attentively listening to their guide, who, as per the actress, assisted them in locating “Nemo.” Additional images and clips captured their underwater escapade. In one video, the couple is seen dancing beneath the waves.

The final image featured the newlyweds taking a selfie as they returned to the yacht after their dive.

For her caption, she expressed: “INFERNO Dive day at the Great Barrier Reef! A heartfelt thank you to our exceptional dive guide Chris @quicksilverdive who introduced us to the finest spots, aided us in locating Nemo, and ensured we had a memorable experience!”

Regarding the Great Barrier Reef, it stands as the world's largest coral reef system, comprising over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching more than 2,300 kilometers.

On December 18, Sonakshi and Zaheer, who tied the knot in a civil ceremony under the Special Marriage Act on June 23, announced their travels to ‘the next continent’ to celebrate the holiday season.

Zaheer, who made his cinematic debut with the 2019 film “Notebook,” shared a series of boomerang clips featuring his wife Sonakshi. The duo was seen gazing at the camera while Sonakshi winked and Zaheer smiled.

“Off to the next continent,” he captioned the post.

He also shared another boomerang video, tagging it “Bye Mumbai” while they made their way to the designated gate on the escalator.

The couple has been jet-setting to stunning locales across Europe, including Milan and Rome.

They posted a series of affectionate clicks from their trip on Instagram, stating, “Rome in a jiffy at the @anantarapalazzonaiadi! Cozy dinners with a view, an exciting buggy ride through the city, and some essential sightseeing! Two days well spent!!”

Before their marriage, the couple reportedly dated for almost seven years, beginning in 2017, and cohabitated for a year. They first appeared together onscreen in the 2022 film “Double XL,” centered around two plus-size women—one from the heartland of Uttar Pradesh and the other from urban New Delhi—who embark on a journey of self-discovery, celebrating female friendship and embracing body positivity, challenging the notion that beauty is tied to size.

The comedy film, directed by Satramm Ramani, also features Huma Qureshi and Mahat Raghavendra.

After their wedding, they marked their one-month anniversary in the Philippines and shared glimpses of their celebration on social media.
