Mumbai, March 25 (NationPress) Bollywood actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood's spouse, Sonali Sood, has been involved in an accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway.
According to sources close to the actor, the incident occurred on Monday. Sonali Sood, along with her sister's son and another woman, was in their vehicle when it collided with a truck.
Fortunately, there is no cause for concern as no one sustained serious injuries. Sonali is currently in Nagpur, while Sonu Sood arrived in Nagpur this morning.
Three years ago, Sonu heroically saved the life of a 19-year-old boy after he was involved in a severe road accident in Moga, Punjab. The incident took place at a flyover where Sonu Sood happened to be passing by.
Upon witnessing the condition of the vehicle, Sonu immediately exited his car and rescued the boy, who was unconscious at the time. The complication arose because the accident-affected vehicle had a central locking system. Therefore, it took some time to extricate the victim, but he was promptly rushed to the nearest hospital.
The boy received crucial medical attention at the hospital and made a full recovery. Previously, Sonu had also worked tirelessly to assist the nation in combating Covid-19 during the devastating second wave of the pandemic.
On the professional front, Sonu Sood made his directorial debut with ‘Fateh’ this year. The film focuses on cybercrime and features Sonu as an ex-special ops officer with a dangerous skill set, a troubled past, and a mission to dismantle a vast network of digital terror.
Discussing the film, Sonu Sood stated, “The city of joy, Kolkata, has always been exceptionally welcoming to me, and its warmth has only increased since my wife is also from here. I filmed at the Howrah Bridge, and returning to this spot in Kolkata to promote my movie was truly nostalgic and special. Visiting the coffee shop and the temple made it all the more meaningful.”
He added, “‘Fateh’ is a film that is very dear to my heart, and sharing it with this wonderful city feels like a full-circle moment. The essence of Kolkata felt incredibly special, and I hope the city offers the same love and support to Fateh as it has given to me and my previous works.”
