Mumbai, Nov 19 (NationPress) The talented actress Sonam Kapoor recently showcased her “shaadi ready” aura on social media, unveiling two breathtaking looks.
On her Instagram profile, the star from ‘Neerja’ shared several photographs featuring fashionable outfits, captioning them, “Shaadi ready… two days and two looks I adored!” In the first image, Sonam poses with her husband, Anand Ahuja, while the second captures her grace in a beautiful blue saree paired with exquisite jewellery.
Sonam regularly shares glimpses of her life on social platforms, including precious family moments. Just yesterday, the actress highlighted the Manipuri weave with her chic ensemble. She donned an outfit from EAST by Easternlight Zimik, a local brand from Manipur’s Ukhrul district, pairing a wrap-style outer layer with a sleek black collared shirt and a matching skirt, also referred to as a kashan.
In terms of her professional journey, Sonam’s most recent appearance was in the 2023 film “Blind,” a gripping crime thriller directed by Shome Makhija. The film starred Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey in significant roles. A remake of the 2011 Korean original, “Blind” follows the story of a visually impaired police officer on the hunt for a serial killer.
This film marked Sonam’s return after a hiatus, during which she focused on her family and motherhood following the arrival of her son. Sonam welcomed her first child, son Vayu, on August 20, 2022.
Sonam was also set to lead the film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel “Battle for Bittora,” but the project has been delayed for years. Produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor, the film was intended to be a fusion of romance and politics, featuring Sonam as an aspiring politician opposite Fawad Khan.
