Mumbai, Sep 16 (NationPress) Actress Sonam, famed for her roles in ‘Tridev’ and ‘Vishwatma’, is reminiscing about the past. On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to share a nostalgic photo of herself alongside the late actress Divya Bharti.
In this delightful snapshot, the two are seen elegantly dressed. Sonam took the opportunity to express her heartfelt thoughts in the caption, referring to Divya as a once-in-a-lifetime star.
She wrote, "This was my first encounter with Divya during the mahurat of Viswaatma. It was both the first and last occasion we appeared as two well-behaved girls. On the sets of Vishwaatma, we had an incredible time filming in Mumbai and throughout Africa."
Sonam reminisced about a particular moment when they both decided to prank an upcoming actor, who has since become a major superstar. Out of respect, she chose not to disclose his name.
"I vividly remember one unforgettable incident when Divya and I were sharing a makeup room at Filmcity. Just outside our room, an emerging actor was shooting for his debut film. (He is a huge star now, and I can't reveal his name.) Our playful antics knew no bounds; we would sneakily peek at him, burst into laughter, and dash back to our makeup room. We must have done this over ten times, laughing until our stomachs hurt and tears streamed down our cheeks. There comes a star in a lifetime who leaves an everlasting mark, and that star was, is, and will always be Divya Bharti.
"I firmly believe that wherever she is, she is shining brighter than ever, just like the true star she always was. I hope this post brings joy to millions of her fans in India and around the world," she concluded.
