Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) The team behind 'Kesari Veer: Chronicles of Somnath' has just launched the film's inaugural motion poster. Producer Kanu Chauhan has revealed this first glimpse featuring lead actor Sooraj Pancholi.
He is set to portray Veer Hamirji Gohil, a valiant but underrated warrior in this thrilling action narrative. Although his face is obscured, the striking poster showcases his hands shackled in chains, while he confidently wields a trishul in one hand and a damru in the other. The iconic Somnath Temple is prominently displayed in the background.

Under the direction of Prince Dhiman, 'Kesari Veer: Chronicles of Somnath' narrates the saga of courageous warriors who fought valiantly to defend the renowned Somnath temple in Gujarat during the 14th century AD.
Sooraj Pancholi takes on a unique role, joined by Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma in significant parts.
Vivek Oberoi is cast as the antagonist, the leading soldier of the Tughlaq dynasty, who spearheads the assault to loot the temple and impose religious conversions. Furthermore, Suniel Shetty's character will ally with Veer Hamirji Gohil in the battle to protect the Somnath temple.
According to reports, Sooraj Pancholi sustained injuries on set during a key action scene. The action director intended for him to perform a stunt jumping over a pyrotechnic explosion. However, the explosion timing was slightly miscalibrated, resulting in the pyrotechnics detonating beneath him.
