Chennai, Sep 23 (NationPress) The creative team behind director Mari Selvaraj's highly anticipated sports drama 'Bison Kaalamaadan', starring actor Dhruv Vikram, has delighted fans by unveiling a calming lullaby titled 'Cheenikkallu' from the film.

Applause Entertainment, one of the film's production houses, shared the link to the newly released track across its social media platforms.

This enchanting lullaby, composed by Nivas K Prasanna, features vocal performances by Vijay Yesudas and Chinmayi. The song opens with a heartfelt tribute penned by Mari Selvaraj to his father.

The poignant words from Mari Selvaraj express: "My father, who never even knew how to swim, was the one who taught me to surf the waves. My father, who never even looked up at the sky, was the one who taught me to fly. Gathering molten splashes of wild fire that day, my father rolled it and gave it to me and that's the cool sun, always with me."

For those unaware, the film is set to release on October 17 this year.

The first look of Bison was revealed in March, and the film is a collaboration between Applause Entertainment and director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Studios.

According to insiders, Bison promises to be an electrifying sports drama, with Dhruv Vikram portraying a kabaddi player alongside Anupama Parameswaran.

Additionally, the film draws inspiration from true events, showcasing a compelling narrative of passion, resilience, and success against all odds.

With Mari Selvaraj's signature storytelling infused with raw energy, Bison is expected to become a defining Tamil film that will inspire and uplift audiences.

Lead actor Dhruv Vikram, who underwent extensive preparation for his role, shared an emotional post on Instagram reflecting on his transformative experience while filming.

He wrote, "After years of preparation, several months of filming, shedding blood, sweat, and tears, it’s finally a wrap on BISON. The process of shooting and prepping for this film has changed my life. Thank you @mariselvaraj84 Sir for fortifying my soul and giving me an experience of a lifetime."

The film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, with a supporting cast including Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, and Kalaiyarasan.

Bison, short for Bison Kaalamaadan, boasts cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K, and editing by Sakthi Thiru. It is co-produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Saigal, director Pa Ranjith, and Aditi Anand.
