Is Sourabh Raaj Jain Really Back to School with Three Mediums?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 19 (NationPress) Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain is embracing diverse roles across three distinct platforms, likening the experience to returning to school, where one acquires knowledge in various subjects within the same field.
The actor is poised to make his OTT debut with Rajshri's Sangamarmar, alongside his stage debut in Mere Krishn. Additionally, Sourabh is collaborating with a radio station, sharing captivating stories through his voice.
"I consider myself fortunate to perform in three different mediums concurrently - OTT, Theatre, and Radio. Each offers a unique experience; OTT has transformed how audiences consume and creators produce entertainment, while theatre reminds us of the fundamentals of acting in front of a live crowd,”
Sourabh explained. He highlighted how radio, as a purely audio platform, poses a unique challenge: “There are no visuals to express emotions.”
“This makes radio incredibly fulfilling; as an actor, voice modulation becomes a powerful instrument, and conveying emotions solely through voice is an exhilarating challenge,” he continued.
“I feel like I'm back in school, absorbing various subjects within a single field, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Each medium has its audience with unique subtleties, and while navigating through them, I sense I am receiving on-the-job training to enhance my performance skills,” he added.
Sourabh, recognized for his notable roles in shows like Remix, Uttaran, Mahabharat, and Mahakali, will also portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in an upcoming film.
He has also ventured into reality television, recently appearing in Tu Dadhkan Mein Dil.
Married to Riddhima Jain since 2010 after three years of dating, they participated together in Nach Baliye 9 and are proud parents of twin children, a daughter named Hrishika and a son named Hrishivh, born in August 2017.
