Actress and producer Sriya Reddy on Thursday, 3 September called learning Kalaripayattu — the ancient Indian martial art — the best decision of her life, sharing a practice video on Instagram that quickly drew attention for its candid reflection on discipline, spirituality, and personal transformation.

She added: 'My mind feels stronger, my body feels stronger, and Kalaripayattu has become not just my fitness, but my way of being.' Closing her note, she credited her teachers — Shwetha and Akshay — saying they 'worked relentlessly' to bring her to where she is today, while acknowledging she still has 'a long way to go.'
