SS Rajamouli Describes Collaboration with Jr NTR as Handling Two Tigers

Mumbai, Dec 17 (NationPress) Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli has recently discussed his experience of collaborating with Jr NTR, stating that working with the actor felt akin to managing two tigers, underlining the incredible energy and dynamism NTR contributed to the set.
Three years following the worldwide success of “RRR,” Rajamouli invites fans to relive the enchantment with an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette. This new video provides a glimpse into the making of the epic film, which had audiences globally celebrating to the electrifying tune of the song “Naatu Naatu.”
In the one-minute-fifty-second clip, the director praises his lead actors, particularly Jr. NTR, who portrayed Komaram Bheem in the film. Rajamouli mentioned, “I felt as though I was filming with not one, but two tigers,” alluding to the actor's powerhouse performance and his well-known nickname, Young Tiger.
The video also highlights heartwarming moments of friendship, where NTR affectionately refers to Rajamouli as “Jakkanna,” a term of endearment that fans celebrated enthusiastically in the comments. Reflecting on the legacy of RRR, the Ramayya Vasthavayya star expressed, “RRR will remain a part of my life forever.”
“RRR,” which premiered in theatres on March 24, 2022, garnered global recognition at prestigious events like the Oscars and Golden Globes. The film brought historic Oscar accolades to India with its chart-topping song “Naatu Naatu.”
At the 95th Academy Awards, the track won Best Original Song, marking it as the first ever from an Indian and Asian film to achieve this esteemed honor. This groundbreaking victory solidified RRR's legacy as the first and only Indian feature film to earn an Academy Award.
