Jr NTR and Ram Charan Share Compelling Stories in 'RRR: Behind & Beyond' Trailer

Mumbai, Dec 17 (NationPress) A behind-the-scenes documentary named “RRR: Behind & Beyond” is poised to be showcased in select cinemas on Friday, December 20. The creators have recently launched the trailer, which gives audiences an insight into the monumental efforts that contributed to the making of this epic film.

The trailer features leading stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, who share captivating anecdotes and lesser-known facts about the film and its visionary director, SS Rajamouli. Additionally, it includes key cast members like Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, along with perspectives from the film's crew, including cinematographer Senthil Kumar, editor Sreekar Prasad, and production designer Sabu Cyril. The trailer culminates in an exhilarating manner, spotlighting the creation of the Oscar-winning track Naatu Naatu, composed by MM Keeravani and written by Chandrabose.

In a post sharing the trailer on his social media accounts, Rajamouli expressed, “The journey we cherish. The moments we live forever. #RRRMovie Here’s the trailer of #RRRBehindAndBeyond. In select cinemas on December 20th.”

The trailer for “RRR: Behind & Beyond” provides candid glimpses of the bond between Jr NTR and Ram Charan. At one point, Jr. NTR lauds Charan’s breathtaking leap in the film's introduction scene, while Charan humorously admits to feeling a tinge of envy towards Tarak (Jr NTR). The duo is also seen sharing a laugh as they lightheartedly critique the distinctive filmmaking style of director SS Rajamouli.

“RRR: Behind and Beyond” is all set to release in theatres on December 20. Produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner, RRR has made history as the third highest-grossing film in India.

The film achieved historic Oscar glory for India with its chart-topping song “Naatu Naatu”, which won the award for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards, marking the first instance of an Indian and Asian film receiving this prestigious accolade. This monumental achievement solidified RRR’s legacy as the first and only Indian feature film to win an Academy Award.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features a stellar cast including N. T. Rama Rao NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.

The film was released on March 25, 2022.
