Chennai, Feb 3 (NationPress) It’s now confirmed! The 49th film of actor Silambarasan will be helmed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan, renowned for his blockbuster film, 'Parking', as announced by the film’s producers on Monday.
Dawn Pictures, the studio behind the film, made the news public in celebration of Silambarasan’s birthday.
In a tweet, Dawn Pictures stated, “Happy Birthday STR! On this special occasion, we’re thrilled to unveil our next major collaboration with our @SilambarasanTR. Directed by @Imramkumar_B @aakashbaskaran #Dawn03 #STR49 #HBDSilambarasanTR #SilambarasanTR.”

This has sparked speculation that Simbu may portray a college student in the film.
In addition to his collaboration with Ramkumar Balakrishnan, two more projects involving Simbu are expected to be revealed today as part of the birthday festivities.
One project is anticipated to be with director Ashwath Marimuthu, who is currently directing 'Dragon' with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead, while the other might be with Desingh Periyasamy, known for the hit film Amaran featuring Sivakarthikeyan.
