Reports indicate that the budding actress acquired land originally designated for farmers by the government, without the necessary permissions and documentation. This land is situated in Thal village and was intended for agricultural use.
The property, valued at INR 12.91 crores, was purchased from the Khote family located in the upscale Cuffe Parade area of Mumbai. At the time of purchase, Suhana paid a stamp duty of INR 77.46 lakh. The transaction took place on May 30, 2023, through Standard Chartered Bank.
The issue is currently under investigation, with the Alibaug tehsildar tasked with producing an unbiased report. This directive came from the Resident Deputy Commissioner of Police.
