Los Angeles, Dec 20 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney has expressed her admiration for films that fully embrace female rage. The 28-year-old star appears alongside Amanda Seyfried in the psychological thriller ‘The Housemaid’.

Sydney enjoyed the thrill of dismantling things and channeling chaos for the film, as reported by Female First UK.

In conversation with People magazine, she shared, "I love seeing movies that have just fully embraced female rage.”

Amanda also relished the opportunity to film intense scenes for the movie, stating, "We don't get movies like this, where we can destroy things the way we did, and what a dream. There's no consequences to breaking s***, it's just rare. I did get to go way beyond with [my character] Nina, but we get our own moments of rage and revenge.”

As noted by Female First UK, director Paul Feig has always admired Sydney and Amanda, captivated by their on-screen chemistry.

He remarked, "And how deep they went into these characters and were doing things that were surprising me with it. When I got to the editing room, I was picking up on things I didn't even see on the set that I'm going, 'Wow, there's this extra layer that they're each doing'.”

Meanwhile, Amanda recently praised Sydney, calling her a “sweetheart”. She commended her co-star for handling the pressures of fame and success with grace.

Amanda told Vanity Fair, "I don’t envy anything she’s going through. I’ve spent a lot of time with her; we just hit it off immediately. She’s a sweetheart. She’s a very generous, kind person at her core. I have to be honest: I did not have a moment like she’s having ever. (‘My Mean Girls’ co-star) Lindsay Lohan, we’re buddies, and it’s really, really, really harmful to people to have that kind of overnight spotlight. Because any press, good or bad, is still a blinding spotlight, and you have to maneuver and negotiate your way around it and outside of it. It’s acrobatics that I don’t think most people are capable of figuring it out at that age.”

Amanda believes that a sudden rise to fame can indeed be “dangerous”. However, she has praised Sydney for how she manages the increased attention.
