Los Angeles, Oct 9 (NationPress) Even the best among us can experience Freudian slips. Pop superstar Taylor Swift revealed that her fiancé Travis Kelce once hilariously confused the names of Hugh Grant's wife and Greta Gerwig.

The 14-time Grammy winner shared this amusing incident during the Eras Tour, when her fiancé mistakenly thought the ‘Heretic’ actor's spouse was actually the ‘Barbie’ director, as reported by People magazine.

In June 2024, Grant, 65, attended the second date of the Eras Tour in London, where he met Kelce, 35, in the VIP area. Swift disclosed this on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’.

According to Swift, 35, the Kansas City Chiefs player met Grant's wife, Anna Eberstein, whom he mistakenly believed was the director of Lady Bird. He went on to congratulate Eberstein on his favorite Gerwig movie, ‘Barbie’.

As per People, Kelce even made an “I'm just Ken” joke while gesturing towards Swift, unaware until after the show that he was indeed speaking with Grant's quite perplexed wife. Following the tent gathering, Kelce told Swift he had a fantastic time meeting numerous celebrities, including Grant.

However, he didn’t mention Gerwig, which puzzled Swift, she revealed to Seth Meyers. Upon hearing that Gerwig hadn’t responded to the “I'm just Ken” joke, she speculated that perhaps Gerwig had simply heard it too many times. Kelce explained to Swift that Gerwig and Grant had been dancing closely all evening and seemed to share “inside jokes”, leading him to believe they might be collaborating on a film.

“They kind of seem like they're like soulmates,” Swift recalled Kelce telling her. “The tea is crazy tonight, Travis,” she quipped.

Meanwhile, Kelce shared with Swift that he enjoyed dancing with family. Swift later saw several videos of Kelce dancing with Gerwig, prompting her to tell him it appeared she indeed enjoyed the joke.
