New Delhi, April 1 (NationPress) Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has launched a fierce critique against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of taking advantage of Punjab’s resources for his own personal and political benefits.

In a strongly articulated post on X on Tuesday, Sirsa, who oversees the departments of Food & Supplies, Industry, and Forest & Environment in the Delhi government, questioned Kejriwal’s recurrent usage of Punjab’s state helicopter.

"Punjab isn’t Kejriwal’s personal fiefdom! Why is Arvind Kejriwal using Punjab’s state helicopter as if it is his own? In what official capacity? Who authorized CM Bhagwant Mann to allocate Punjab’s resources to benefit the AAP leadership?" Sirsa queried.

He further condemned the Punjab government, emphasizing the state's financial problems and governance challenges. "Punjab is overwhelmed by debt. Farmers are suffering, youth are unemployed, industries are failing… and public funds are being wasted on Kejriwal’s VIP luxuries!" he asserted.

The Delhi minister demanded accountability from Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, asking for clarification regarding the apparent misuse of state resources. "Is he Punjab’s CM or Kejriwal’s travel agent?" Sirsa questioned, suggesting that Mann is prioritizing Kejriwal’s political endeavors over Punjab’s governance.

This controversy arises as Kejriwal makes another visit to Ludhiana, marking his second trip in a fortnight. He is scheduled to address a rally on Tuesday and lead a march against the drug problem on Wednesday as part of the Punjab government’s ‘Yudh Nashe De Virudh’ (War Against Drugs) initiative.

Participants from the National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) are also anticipated to join the march.

Kejriwal's visit coincides with the upcoming Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll, the dates of which have yet to be announced but it has become a crucial struggle for the ruling AAP.

The election was prompted by the passing of AAP’s Gurpreet Singh Gogi on January 11.
