New Delhi, April 19 (NationPress) Delhi Minister of Food & Supplies, Industry, Forest & Environment Manjinder Singh Sirsa asserted on Saturday that a significant scam linked to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has emerged within his department, confidently stating that the ground will soon slip from under the AAP.

“In the upcoming days, I will conduct a press conference where I will present all the documents. I will disclose everything. The ground will slip from under both Kejriwal and AAP. Perhaps his only role is to engage in scams,” Manjinder Singh Sirsa informed IANS.

In reaction to Kejriwal’s recent critique of the BJP government, Sirsa maintained that his narrative cannot change the facts.

“Kejriwal used to assert that his party would secure 70 seats—what happened to that? The public is aware of the reality. Citizens on the streets of Delhi are labeling Kejriwal as dishonest. This narrative wasn't imposed; it arose from the people. In one instance, individuals were chanting slogans in front of Sanjay Singh that Kejriwal is dishonest. Every child in Delhi understands that the current government operates with integrity. Dishonest individuals cannot become honest by merely shaping a narrative,” he added.

Addressing the recent order to shut down establishments that are blatantly polluting Delhi within 24 hours, Sirsa emphasized that all must adhere to the law in Delhi, asserting that laws are not created based on religion or caste.

“We are equipped to ensure compliance. Illegal activities must cease in Delhi. Illegal encroachments on roads, chicken shops, raw meat sales, roadside eateries (dhabas), street vendors (rehris), and jeans manufacturing units must be dismantled immediately. These are residential zones, and such activities are generating severe pollution. Those engaged in illegal activities will need to vacate the area. Everyone must follow the law,” the minister declared.

Sirsa also mentioned that directives have been issued to the Deputy Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

“A task force has been established and will now operate at the grassroots level. Delhi is a beautiful city, and it should maintain its beauty. It is our responsibility to fulfill the Prime Minister’s vision of a clean and beautiful India. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is focusing on the roads, and the administration must also step up,” he stated.

Commenting on Mithun Chakraborty’s remarks about the West Bengal government, Sirsa expressed that Bengal and Punjab share a profound connection, lamenting the current condition of Bengal.

“People voted for Mamata Banerjee, but she has permitted infiltrators to dominate. Today, Hindus are unsafe in their own country because of Trinamool’s appeasement politics. Bengal will only be secure once her rule concludes. As long as she remains in authority, infiltrators will persist,” the minister asserted.

The BJP leader further discussed the Ghazipur landfill, stating: “We are currently removing about 3,500 metric tonnes of waste each day. However, we aim to increase this to 8,000 tonnes within the next two to three months. It will take approximately 70 months to complete the cleanup, but we are wholly committed to finishing it within the next five years.”
