The Chronicles of the Shiledars: Guardians of an Era

Mumbai, Dec 27 (NationPress) The forthcoming streaming series ‘The Chronicles of the Shiledars’ unveils the tale of the Shiledars, the valiant defenders and loyal stewards whose commitment altered the course of history.
The cast includes Rajeev Khandelwal, Sai Tamhankar, Gaurav Amlani, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The series is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for his work on ‘Munjya’.
In discussing the show, Aditya shared, “From a young age, I have been captivated by tales of adventure and history, which have always sparked my curiosity. One such intrigue led to the creation of The Chronicles of the Shiledars. The concept of ‘Shiledars’, or The Guardians, has not been explored previously, making it both fascinating and rewarding.”
He added, “I feel that The Chronicles of the Shiledars is a project that pushed me to step outside my comfort zone, and I am thrilled to embark on this journey with Rajeev Khandelwal, who has truly poured his heart and soul into this role, and I am confident it will shine through on screen.”
This series is produced by Nitin Vaidya under the banner of Dashami Creations LLP.
Sai Tamhankar expressed, “I am overjoyed to be part of a narrative that recounts the legacy of the Marathas and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I have been hearing these inspiring tales since childhood, and each story fills me with pride. The legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj resonates not just with Maharashtra, but with all of India, which is why I wanted to be involved. I am immensely grateful to Disney+ Hotstar for this opportunity, and I eagerly anticipate the release of this show.”
The Chronicles of the Shiledars is scheduled to premiere on January 24, 2025, on Disney+ Hotstar.
