Tom Holland Shares Benefits of Collaborating with Girlfriend Zendaya

Los Angeles, Dec 19 (NationPress) Hollywood star Tom Holland has expressed that collaborating with his girlfriend Zendaya has its unique advantages.

The actor was featured on a Christmas-themed episode of the 'Dish' podcast, where he was inquired about acting alongside his longtime partner Zendaya, as reported by 'Variety'.

The couple has worked together in three 'Spider-Man' films and will be on film sets for the majority of 2025, as they star in a fourth 'Spider-Man' installment and Christopher Nolan’s enigmatic new film.

When questioned about being Zendaya’s co-star, he humorously remarked, “Studios appreciate it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not insane now. Remember, it’s work, alright?”.

“Oh God, yes. It’s a saving grace. Yeah, the best thing that’s ever happened to me”, he continued on a more sincere note. “It’s just that ideal moment on set when a director gives you feedback that you might not agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that familiar look at each other like, can’t wait to discuss that later”.

According to 'Variety', Zendaya previously gushed to Vanity Fair about working alongside Holland, stating that it feels completely normal to be scene partners.

“It’s actually oddly comfortable”, Zendaya mentioned. “It feels like second nature, if anything. You feel extra secure with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s incredibly talented and so passionate about his craft. He always gives his all, even when he’s completely exhausted. I truly value that about him. It feels quite routine. That’s how we initially connected. Literally, during a chemistry reading”.

Holland and Zendaya will share the screen with Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and others in Nolan’s forthcoming film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2026, from Universal Pictures.

Holland informed the 'Dish' hosts that he has yet to receive the script for the movie.

“It’s very confidential”, Tom stated. “He briefly pitched what it’s about. When he’s ready, he’ll reveal it.”

The actor previously shared with 'Good Morning America' that receiving an offer from Nolan was “the phone call of a lifetime”. He added, “It was reminiscent of getting the call about ‘Spider-Man’ a decade ago. It’s an incredible opportunity for me. I’m extremely proud and genuinely excited”.
