Hyderabad, April 11 (NationPress) Renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu, who is the director of photography for Buchi Babu Sana's much-anticipated rural action film 'Peddi', starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan, has provided a significant update on the film's progress, much to the excitement of fans and cinema enthusiasts.

The cinematographer recently shared a series of images from the film, announcing that the colour grading process is currently underway. On his Instagram account, Rathnavelu commented, "Peddi colour grading in full swing."

Previously, he had revealed that he was dedicating long hours to the grading and DI process, saying, "Shoot it in the light, grade it in the dark. Hectic days, sleepless nights. All for the big screen. #Peddi #Cinematography #DI #ColourGrading."

Notably, just a week ago, Ram Charan mentioned that the principal shooting of the film was concluded, with only one song remaining to be filmed.

He made this announcement during a visit from the team of 'Rakasa' while on the 'Peddi' set.

Additionally, the production team recently unveiled a glimpse video titled 'Peddi Pehelwan Glimpse' to celebrate Ram Charan's birthday.

This glimpse video revealed a new and intriguing side of the actor, delighting fans and film lovers alike.

In a previous clip, Ram Charan showcased his cricketing skills, leading many to speculate that he might portray a cricketer. However, the newly released glimpse video depicted him as a formidable wrestler.

The glimpse opens with a voiceover stating, "Kusthi (wrestling) is not a sport where you carry a bat and face an oncoming ball. This is a sport where you pledge your life and stand against death. Now tell me, are you going to get into the ring or are you opting out?"

The video also features Ram Charan training with a mace, showcasing his well-toned physique and dedication to the role.

It concludes with him responding to an earlier inquiry, stating, "The game is my pride."

The film 'Peddi' has generated significant enthusiasm among fans and film aficionados since its announcement.

Recently, it was reported that Indian cricketer Tilak Varma, a member of the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team, visited the film's sets.

This movie boasts a strong ensemble cast, with Janhvi Kapoor in the lead female role, along with veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.
