Varun Dhawan Meets Amit Shah: An 'Absolute Pleasure'

Mumbai, Dec 15 (NationPress) Bollywood sensation Varun Dhawan, who is in the midst of promoting his forthcoming movie “Baby John”, had the privilege of meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his time in the National Capital, describing the encounter as an “absolute pleasure.”

Varun took to Instagram to share a moment captured with the esteemed leader. In the snapshot, both individuals are seen smiling at the camera.

“Inke Saamne Toh Hum Sab ‘Baby’ Hai,” Varun humorously remarked about Amit Shah, who is often referred to as the Chanakya of Indian politics.

Expressing his appreciation, Varun stated, “It was an absolute pleasure to meet the Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah ji in Delhi.”

Regarding “Baby John”, this action thriller is helmed by director Kalees and is an adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film Theri. The film features Varun Dhawan in the lead role, alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna, and Jackie Shroff.

“Baby John” is set to premiere on December 25. The plot revolves around DCP Satya Verma IPS, also known as Baby John, who stages his own death and goes into hiding to ensure a peaceful upbringing for his daughter, Khushi, in Kerala following a personal tragedy. However, his past resurfaces when his adversary, Babbar Sher, a politician, discovers he is still alive.

During his promotional tour in New Delhi, Varun also met with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

In a photo shared by the rapper on Instagram, Honey Singh is stylishly dressed in a black overcoat, shirt, and pants to combat the winter chill, while Varun, unbothered by the cold, sported a white half-sleeve T-shirt with “Baby John” printed on it, paired with jeans.

Prior to his time in Delhi, Varun visited Jaipur to promote the film, enjoying a day in the city and indulging in dal bati and vada pav.

Varun also shared a series of images from his time in Jaipur on Instagram. In the first photo, he is seen donning a traditional Rajasthani pagdi while sampling an authentic Rajasthani thali.
