Director Venky Atluri has won the 72nd National Film Award for Best Screenplay – Dialogue Writer for the Telugu financial crime drama Lucky Baskhar, and has dedicated the honour to every member of the film's cast, crew, and audience. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced the winners in New Delhi, with Lucky Baskhar emerging as one of the notable Telugu-language recipients at this year's ceremony.
