Amaravati, Aug 1 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, extended their heartfelt congratulations to actor Nandamuri Balakrishna for winning the prestigious Best Telugu National Film Award for his remarkable performance in the film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’.
Naidu took to X to express his elation for Balakrishna, who is not only his brother-in-law but also an MLA representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
“It brings me immense joy to announce that ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’, featuring the celebrated actor and Padma Bhushan awardee Nandamuri Balakrishna, has been honored with the National Award for Best Telugu Film for 2023. This film, which garnered immense praise from audiences, is now receiving the accolades it truly deserves. Congratulations to Balakrishna garu and the entire film crew,” wrote the Chief Minister.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who is also a prominent figure in the Tollywood film industry, shared his congratulations with the winners of the National Film Awards. “It is uplifting to see the Telugu film sector being recognized with numerous awards at the 71st National Film Awards. I am thrilled that ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’, featuring my brother and Hindupur MLA Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, has been awarded the Best Telugu Film honor,” posted Kalyan.
He also acknowledged the film's director, Anil Ravipudi, and producers Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi. “Additionally, the film ‘Hanu-Man’ has been awarded as the Best VFX Film. Kudos to the film’s director, Prasanth Varma, VFX specialists, and producer.”
Pawan Kalyan further congratulated Neelam Sai Rajesh for best screenplay (for the movie Baby), Kasarla Shyam for best lyricist (for Balagam), P.V.N.S. Rohit for best male playback singer (for Baby), Nandu Prithvi for best stunt choreographer (for Hanu-Man), and Sukrithiveni Bandreddi for best child artist (for Gandhi Thatha Chettu).
