Chennai, Nov 5 (NationPress) The highly anticipated film 'Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku', directed by Dayal Padmanabhan and starring Vetri and Brigida, officially commenced production with a traditional pooja ceremony on Wednesday.
The pooja was graced by the entire cast and crew, along with various industry well-wishers. In addition to Vetri and Brigida in lead roles, the film will also feature renowned journalist Rangaraj Pandey in an important part.
'Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku', which translates to 'The Murder Case of Lakshmikanthan', recounts the notorious murder of a celebrated journalist that transpired several decades ago, intertwining the sensational involvement of renowned Tamil cinema figures. This case has left a profound impact on the nation.
Many creators have previously tried to depict this captivating story through fictional narratives, yet none have succeeded until now. A passionate team of filmmakers is finally set to bring this long-desired cinematic vision to life.
