Chennai, Jan 19 (NationPress) Responding to a plea from filmmakers of upcoming movies, Kalaipuli S Thanu, the renowned producer of Vijay's film 'Theri', has decided to delay the film's re-release, which was initially scheduled for January 23. A new release date will be announced on Monday.
Earlier, it was planned that 'Theri' would return to theaters on the same date.
On Sunday, Mohan G Kshatriyan, the director of 'Draupathi 2', which is set to premiere on January 23, reached out to Kalaipuli S Thanu on X, asking him to postpone 'Theri''s re-release.
He stated, "I am requesting @theVcreations' Kalaipuli S Thanu sir to support teams like ours and delay the release of Thalapathy's #Theri on January 23. You have done much for new producers and emerging directors; please help our #Draupathi2 get a proper release in major theaters."
