Mumbai, May 24 (NationPress) Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who collaborated with the late Mukul Dev in the upcoming sequel, "Son Of Sardaar 2", fondly remembered his co-star during an exclusive interview with IANS.
"Though he is no longer with us, Mukul will forever live in our hearts and will always be remembered as an immortal figure," Vindu shared with IANS.
He disclosed that Mukul had initially gained considerable weight, which he managed to lose during filming with Ajay Devgn’s assistance. Unfortunately, he regained the weight after the shoot concluded. Vindu remarked, "He delivered outstanding performances in 'Son of Sardar 2'. We filmed with him for a month in August in Scotland. Though he had put on some weight, Ajay helped him get back in shape. However, he did gain the weight back after we wrapped up. Mukul was a truly kind-hearted soul."
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, "Son of Sardar 2" features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, and Kubbra Sait, among others.
Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja in collaboration with Fox Star Studios, "Son of Sardar 2" serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film "Son of Sardaar," which starred Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha.
