Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Chennai, Nov 4 (NationPress) Actor Vishnu Vishal, who stars as the protagonist in the currently successful psycho thriller 'Aaryan', has announced that the film will feature a revised climax starting this Tuesday.
The updated climax will reduce the film's duration by approximately four to five minutes.
During a Thanksgiving gathering organized by the film's unit to express gratitude to the media for their support, Vishnu Vishal, whose production company Vishal Film Factory is behind the film, conveyed his thanks to the media for their encouragement.
"After three years, a film featuring me as the sole lead is finally hitting theaters. The affection the audience has shown during the opening week has made this a remarkable success for me. The reception I have experienced in these past three days is truly astonishing," stated the actor.
Praising Praveen, the director, for his patience and success, Vishnu Vishal mentioned that they crafted a distinctive script in 'Aaryan' aimed at breaking conventional thriller tropes.
He expressed confidence that they achieved around 80% success in challenging these norms. "The remaining 20% involved some differing opinions, which we accept," he said.
He noted a significant debate among the film's crew regarding the climax, admitting that it took two months to finalize how to portray Azhagar's (the antagonist's) actions in the film.
"We concluded that the audience would favor a certain ending and decided to proceed with it. However, this choice had a minor negative impact. We've now resolved this issue. Starting today, the original climax we envisioned for this film will be presented. As I always say, I value feedback from the audience and media. From today, the 20% dissatisfaction regarding the climax will be eliminated. Viewers will encounter this new climax and find it fairer," Vishnu Vishal revealed.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Vishnu Vishal confirmed that the new climax has received clearance from the Censor Board and that this change will shorten the film's runtime by four to five minutes.
'Aaryan', produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz in collaboration with Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh, is directed by Praveen K. Notably, Manu Anand, who directed 'FIR' featuring Vishnu Vishal, contributed as a co-writer for this project. The film premiered in Tamil Nadu on October 31, 2025, with its Telugu version set to release on November 7.
In 'Aaryan', Vishnu Vishal reprises his role as a police officer. The cast also includes Selvaraghavan, Shraddha Srinath, and Maanasa Choudhary in significant roles, along with Sai Ronak, Tarak Ponnappa, Mala Parvathi, Avinash, and Abishek Joseph George joining the ensemble.
