Chennai, Oct 23 (NationPress) Actor Vishnu Vishal, the lead in director Praveen K’s investigative thriller 'Aaryan', has revealed that a lip-lock scene from a song in the film was removed following a request from actress Maanasa Choudhary, who plays a key role. During an event arranged by the film's production team, Vishnu Vishal, whose production company Vishnu Vishal Studioz is behind the film, stated, "We had included a romantic song in the film. After we filmed a scene for the song, Maanasa approached the director and expressed her unease about that scene. She requested that it not be part of the song."

"When the director informed me of her concerns, I completely understood her perspective and promptly told him to avoid any similar scenes, opting for a different approach to the song altogether."

Addressing Maanasa, he added, "In the final edit, that scene has been removed. I appreciate your candor and respect your feelings. As an actor, I acknowledge and support your stance, and we have acted accordingly. I emphasize this because I hold great respect for women and their perspectives in cinema."

The film, which has received clearance from the Censor Board for release, is set to premiere on October 31 this year.

Recently released trailers depict Selvaraghavan as a serial killer who taunts the police, revealing his intended victim's name just one hour before the murder is to occur. The police quickly realize this is just the beginning of his spree and mobilize, assigning the case to the capable Vishnu Vishal, known for solving a similar case in Kodaikanal. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues between the killer and law enforcement.

In Aaryan, Vishnu Vishal reprises his role as a police officer, joined by Selvaraghavan, Shraddha Srinath, and Maanasa Choudhary in significant roles, alongside Sai Ronak, Tarak Ponnappa, Mala Parvathi, Avinash, and Abishek Joseph George in the cast.

This film, crafted as a compelling investigative action thriller, is directed by Praveen K. Manu Anand, who directed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal, contributed as co-writer.

The project commenced in September 2022 with a traditional pooja ceremony. Vishnu Vishal previously shared that this film holds special significance for him, stating, "My son now has my film in his name. This title will be unforgettable for me."

Cinematography is handled by Harish Kannan, with music composed by Sam CS. San Lokesh serves as the film's editor and Stunt Silva choreographs the action sequences.
