Chennai, Feb 14 (NationPress) Actor Vishwak Sen, whose film 'Laila' premieres today, emphasized that hatred will lead us nowhere and called for audience support, highlighting that many lives are tied to this project.

In a video shared on his X account, Vishwak Sen stated, “Namaste to all. There has been much misunderstanding and disturbance, and on behalf of my team and myself, I offer an apology even though we did nothing wrong. My message at the pre-release event remains the same: hatred will take us nowhere. We must all work to diminish our anger and misunderstandings.”

Identifying himself as part of the audience, Vishwak Sen remarked, “You have supported me to this point. If I succeed, we all succeed. Your encouragement allows me to take on significant roles.”

With the release of Laila, he added, “We need your support.”

The actor expressed, “We will ensure you laugh until your sides hurt. Our sole aim is to entertain you. This film features many newcomers, including a fresh director and heroine—many lives hinge on its success. Our goal is to create quality cinema; that is our mission.”

Encouraging viewers to separate past events from their film experience, he said, “Let us all relax and enjoy Laila. You will find it hilarious. We need your backing.”

Vishwak Sen's appeal comes after remarks made by actor Prudhvi Raj at a pre-release event sparked controversy, leading some on social media to call for a boycott of Laila due to perceived criticisms of the YSR Congress Party.
