Vishal Breathes Easy as Madha Gaja Raja Hits Theatres; Grateful for Audience's Positive Reaction

Chennai, Jan 13 (NationPress) Actor Vishal, who has recently navigated a tough period battling a viral illness alongside unfounded rumors about his health circulating on social media, now has cause for relief. His film, Madha Gaja Raja, which premiered on Sunday after a staggering delay of over 12 years, is enjoying a favorable reception from audiences.
This news couldn’t have arrived at a more opportune moment for Vishal, who expressed heartfelt thanks to God and the public.
Vishal shared a video on his X account featuring a packed theater of enthusiastic viewers cheering for him, stating, “My, oh, my, Thank you God both above and below (audience). Finally. #MadhaGajaRaja has made it to the theatres and has met expectations. What a response; can’t ask for more.”
“The response has been overwhelming. Witnessing a theater brimming with an audience is what drives an actor to work even harder. Thank you to my amazing audience and fans. Seeing families flocking to theaters is a truly positive sign. Thank you, Sundar sir! I’ve awaited this moment for years. A film releasing after 12 years and receiving such a response is nothing short of a miracle. God bless.”
On Saturday, Vishal surprised reporters by making an unanticipated appearance during the intermission of a special show of the film, screened solely for the media.
During this time, he reassured everyone that he was feeling well and back in action, while dismissing the rumors about his health that were making rounds on social media.
The renowned actor and producer expressed his gratitude towards the media for their unwavering support.
"I am genuinely indebted to you for your affection,” he remarked to the reporters and added, “I did not foresee this level of love. After I left the event (the Madha Gaja Raja press meet), many of you reached out with messages and calls. There were inquiries about my health. I have thrived for 20 years thanks to your love. I am well and back on track.”
Addressing the rumors that circulated on social media claiming he had been admitted to Apollo, Vishal clarified, “I only received treatment at Kauvery hospital. I was never admitted to any hospital. As stated in my film ‘Mark Antony’, 'You thought I would fall? I won't'. That resonates with me now. My self-confidence and my father's belief in me are my strengths. Together, these strengths empower me to overcome any challenges. I mention this now because there were claims I wouldn’t return for shooting for three months or six months. I am well and back on track.”
